Divergent Beginnings is a Non-profit that assists families of neurodiverse children to be successful. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the pediatrician’s office and fulfilling the child’s needs. The following services are provided:

What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiverse means that one’s brain processes information differently then the “typical”, aka Neurotypical person. These difference may vary from one person to another and may include sensory, social skills, communication, critical thinking skill, etc.

MEET

OUR FOUNDER

Jenny Hemstalk currently lives in the Treasure Valley with her husband and their daughter who was diagnosed autistic at age three. She has an extensive background in the medical field as well as working with disabled and neurodiverse people both personally and professionally. She now devotes her time to helping families navigate their new journey with love and compassion for their neurodivergent loved ones.
